If the result looks like a completely different person, tell it to try again while keeping your facial features and identity much closer to the original photo.

You can say:

Keep my facial features, face shape, hairstyle and overall identity as close to the original photo as possible. Change the clothing, setting and photography style, but don’t turn me into a different person.

You may need a couple of attempts before you’re happy with it.

A newspaper-style version

If you want something that looks like it came from an old cricket newspaper or magazine, try this:

Turn this into a realistic 1980s Indian cricket photograph, as if it was taken for an old sports newspaper. Keep my face recognisable and natural. Put me in traditional cricket whites with a wooden bat on an old cricket ground. Use slightly faded colours, soft film grain, natural daylight and the texture of an old printed photograph. Avoid modern cricket gear, logos and digital-looking effects.

That usually gives the picture a much more authentic retro feel.
