Ravi Teja starrer ‘Irumudi’ continued its strong theatrical run with a major rise in collections on its fourth Saturday. According to Sacnilk, the action film earned Rs 2.25 cr in India net on Day 23. The collection came from 1,256 shows across the country.The latest figure marks a 66.7% increase over the Rs 1.35 cr collected on Day 22. The film has now recorded Rs 178.05 cr in India net collections. Its India gross collection stands at Rs 206.85 cr.‘Irumudi’ has also maintained its presence in overseas markets. The film earned Rs 5 lakhs overseas on Day 23. Its total overseas gross collection has reached Rs 22.40 cr. The worldwide gross now stands at Rs 229.25 cr.

‘Irumudi’ records strong growth on fourth Saturday

‘Irumudi’ earned Rs 1.35 cr on September 11, its fourth Friday. The film had 1,189 shows on the day. Its overall occupancy stood at 28.0%. The fourth Saturday brought a significant improvement in business. The film’s collection increased to Rs 2.25 cr on September 12. The number of shows also went up to 1,256. Overall occupancy improved to 36.0%.The Day 23 collection represents a 66.7% growth compared with the previous day’s earnings.

Ravi Teja film crosses Rs 178 cr in India net

The film has maintained a steady run across its first three weeks. ‘Irumudi’ collected Rs 92.15 cr during its opening week. Its second-week collection stood at Rs 57.60 cr. The film added another Rs 24.70 cr during its third week. Its latest Saturday earnings have pushed the overall India net collection to Rs 178.05 cr.The India gross collection has reached Rs 206.85 cr. The overseas gross stands at Rs 22.40 cr. Together, the domestic and international markets have taken the worldwide gross to Rs 229.25 cr.

Telugu version records 32.19% occupancy

The Telugu 2D version of ‘Irumudi’ registered an overall occupancy of 32.19% on Day 23. Morning shows recorded 16.00% occupancy. Afternoon shows performed better, with occupancy reaching 28.00%. Evening shows recorded 31.00%. Night shows registered 24.42%. The overall occupancy remained above the 30% mark.

‘Epic’ earns Rs 1.30 cr on Day 2

Meanwhile, Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s ‘Epic’ is also playing in theatres. The film earned Rs 1.30 cr in India net on Day 2. The collection came from 1,331 shows. The second-day figure represents a 38.1% drop from the Rs 2.10 cr collected on the opening day. ‘Epic’ has now earned Rs 3.40 cr in India net collections.Its India gross collection stands at Rs 3.95 cr. The film has also recorded a contribution from the overseas market during its opening days.

‘Epic’ worldwide gross reaches Rs 5.60 cr

‘Epic’ earned Rs 65 lakhs from overseas markets on Day 2. Its total overseas gross collection has consequently reached Rs 1.65 cr.
