Some connections begin with instant excitement. The conversation flows, there is obvious attraction and you find yourself looking forward to every notification from that person.

But once the initial rush settles, a different set of questions starts to matter. How do they handle conflict? Do they respect your boundaries? Can you trust what they say? And do you feel like yourself around them?

Those answers may not create butterflies, but they can reveal whether there is something solid underneath the attraction.
