Think about whether your lives can realistically fit together. Do your lifestyles, priorities and expectations leave enough room for each other? How do you feel about their approach to work, friendships, family, money or personal space?

You do not need identical lives. But major differences are easier to handle when you have at least thought about them before becoming deeply involved.
