Jay-Z has been keeping busy celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album, ‘Reasonable Doubt.’ While he performed at one of the two weekend concerts held for the anniversary, the rapper made sure to bring out some special guests for the night.
Jay-Z invites Blue Ivy on stage during his concert
While performing at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Friday, October 23, the famed rapper called upon a special guest to join him on stage. Fans cheered on as his 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, made her way onstage to support her father.Videos from the concerts shared online showed the father and daughter duo sweetly interacting on stage. Blue Ivy joined her father to help him perform two of his popular songs: ‘The Story of OJ’ and ‘Dead Presidents.’ During the set, the 14-year-old accompanied her father at the keyboard while wearing a pink-and-blue leather jacket and accessorising with gold jewellery. She also opted for more colourful makeup, wearing glittering blue makeup. After their duet ended, Ivy gave her dad a hug before bowing to the crowd, blowing kisses to them, and flashing a peace sign, after which she walked off the stage. This is not the first time that Ivy has joined her father on stage this year. The rapper had earlier invited his older daughter on stage at the Yankee Stadium concert, which was held in July. It was also part of his 30th anniversary concert series, during which he was also joined by his wife. The couple sang ‘Can’t Knock the Hustle,’ while their daughter joined the performance for ‘Feelin’ It.’ She even performed the piano solo at the end of the 1996 hit. While talking to GQ earlier this year, Jay Z had opened up about how Ivy was extremely talented when it came to the piano. He added, “She won’t let us get her a teacher. She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch. If she hears a song, she’ll be like, ‘Play it again,’ and then she’ll teach herself. That’s just talent. She doesn’t work at that. She worked at this, and it makes me proud that she fought for something that she really wanted to do. I don’t think we’re going to be able to get her off that stage now.”

The two sat next to her and were seen dancing and singing along to the performances.Other musical guests who joined Jay Z on stage during his concert over the weekend included Scarface, who performed ‘This Can’t Be Life’ and ‘Mind Playing Tricks on Me,’ along with the track ‘God Did,’ which was originally released by DJ Khaled and John Legend back in 2022.
