Aneet Padda has been leaning into a very different fashion mood lately. And at the Mumbai premiere of her new series Hunkkaar: The Roar, the actor left behind her usual girl-next-door style for something far more grown-up and striking.Known for cute dresses, floral looks and easy, feminine outfits, Padda chose a chocolate brown corseted ensemble for the red carpet. The trousers came with a paisley motif and a relaxed, wide-leg cut, creating an interesting contrast with the fitted corset.The combination could easily have looked too busy, given the two different patterns. But the similar colour palette keeps it together. The floral detail on the corset and paisley print on the trousers feel like they belong to the same story, rather than competing for attention.The high waist also helps create a longer, cleaner line through the silhouette. That fitted-top-and-wide-trouser combination gives the outfit some structure while still allowing the trousers to fall naturally.For shoes, Padda went with Christian Louboutin Sporty Kate suede pumps, priced at €785. The pointed pumps added a sleek finish and kept the wide trousers from making the outfit feel too relaxed.She finished the look with jewellery from Mia by Tanishq, keeping the accessories relatively delicate so they didn’t compete with the heavily patterned outfit.Her voluminous hair and understated makeup kept the rest of the look simple. There was no need for an elaborate beauty look when the outfit was already doing most of the talking.And that may be what makes this appearance stand out. Padda didn’t completely abandon the feminine style she’s known for. She simply gave it a sharper, more confident edge.The result feels less like a complete reinvention and more like a glimpse of another side of her style. The chocolate brown palette, fitted corset and dramatic trousers make the look noticeably more mature, while the soft hair and subtle jewellery keep it from feeling too severe.
