Tamil star Suriya is enjoying a positive phase in his career as, after the grand success of ‘Karuppu’, his latest film ‘Vishwanath and Sons’, which was released on Friday, is also seeing a solid run at the box office. ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ live numbers
According to live numbers at the trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ has collected over Rs 96 lakh on Day 5. The film is running across 2,164 with an occupancy of 19%.Yesterday, on Day 4, it collected over Rs 7.80 crore which ran across 4,962 shows. During its first weekend the film saw huge numbers as it made Rs 15.35 crore on the opening day and Rs 22.25 crore and Rs 20.55 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.The latest numbers have pushed the film’s total India net collection to around Rs 66.91 crore, while its India gross stands at approximately Rs 77.40 crore so far.
Box office numbers in different versions
The Tamil version contributed Rs 54 lakh, recording 17% occupancy across 1,290 shows, while the Telugu version earned Rs 42 lakh from 874 shows, with occupancy standing at 22%. These are live figures, and the final Tuesday collection is expected to be higher once the complete day’s business is added.
